What feels familiar

MEGAGOL uses a top-down pitch, fast end-to-end play and aftertouch-style curl: after you strike the ball, holding a direction bends the shot. Controls are simple — move, pass, shoot, switch player and sprint — and a match takes 3, 5, 7 or 10 minutes.

MEGAGOL adds things the 1990s games could not do in a browser: online ranked 1v1 with a server opponent when nobody is around, a Daily Match where everyone plays the same fixture and can challenge friends with a shared link, touch controls on phones, and offline play once added to the home screen.
